Our vision is to establish a Centre for Economic Inclusion that will revolutionise how we tackle economic inactivity in the county, by adopting innovative approaches to engaging people who are economically inactive and delivering individualised support to enable them re-engage in the world of work. This centre will provide a plethora of support services for all service users to improve their social and economic life chances. Opportunities will include one-stop-shop for information and advice, social support / networking, training and marketable skills development, business support and know how for small and medium enterprises and other life / health improvement activities. The Centre will be housed in a thoroughly modern and technologically advanced public building that will stand as exemplar of accessibility to others. This is a unique and iconic project in Wales that will significantly boost the County Council’s and the Llanelli Town Council’s equality, inclusion / social justice credentials simultaneously and provide firm evidence of our commitment and innovation in this area.

(ii)Economic: Is it value for money and the best solution?
